Anna Rae Moody

This amazingly kind soul came into this world April 19, 1966, and sadly departed on April 7, 2025 at the age of 58. Anna was born and raised in Cheyenne Wyoming, where she spent her life with her beloved family and friends.

She is survived by her three children; Eric Moody (Kilie), Sara Moody (Cody), and Joshua Moody all whom she cherished dearly. Also surviving are her parents, Dennis and Ruth Moody, her sister, Pamela Herod (Bart) and her 7 grandchildren; Cali, Owen, Bo, Byntlie, Lane, Aurora and Nikayla and her uncle Dan Engleman (Jill). She also loved all her nieces and nephews; Kayla, Chris, Emilee, Nevaeh, Vicente, Karen, Jennifer, Lauren, and Tim. She was precious to Lyn and a fearless friend too many and of course, her four-legged soulmate, Rhino the pug.

In her early years, she ran the surgical unit at Cheyenne Medical Specialists and later became a loving homemaker for her family. She had a passion for many things in life, such as attending concerts, clay work and sculpting, stained glass, and any form of art. She valued laughing and the importance of a good dad joke. She relished riding her Harley and attending many motorcycle runs as well as going to Sturgis whenever she could. She enjoyed classic rock but heavy metal was her jam along with rap’s Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio, which was best enjoyed at full blast.

Anna will be greatly missed by all who knew her well.

A Celebration of Life is planned for April 19, 2025 at 619 S. Greeley Highway, Cheyenne, WY 82007 from 1 to 4 PM. All who knew Anna are welcome to attend, attire is casual.
