Ann DeHoff, age 82, of Cheyenne, WY, passed peacefully into eternal life on September 5, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Ann was born on April 6, 1944, in Hot Springs, SD, to William & Patricia Rooney. She married Thomas E. DeHoff on September 12, 1964. Together they shared 62 years of marriage and raised 4 children. Ann was employed by the State of Wyoming for 34 years, including Wyoming Transportation Department, State Engineering, and Department of Environment Quality.

Her Catholic faith was central to her life. She trusted in God's grace and showed her faith through compassion, forgiveness, and always thinking of others.

Ann found great joy in family gatherings, family sporting events, and many other interests. She will be remembered especially for her kindness, humor, strength, hospitality, devotion to family, and for being everyone's favorite. Her greatest blessing was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her husband of many moons, Tom DeHoff, sisters, Bobbie DeHaan and Kathy Deike (Dave), her brother Tom Rooney (Carol), brother-in-law Dennis Coleman, and her children, Jacquie (Tom), Carolyn (Gayle), Tommy (Michele), Yvonne (J.D.), her 11 grandchildren, Colin, Kayla, Patrick, TJ, Shane, MacKenzie, Luke, Marcus, Mason, Gavyn, Dylan, and her 6 great grandchildren, Sean, Conner, Austin, Nash, Luca, and Boston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Pat Rooney, sister, Patricia Coleman, brother, Billy Rooney, brother-in-law, John DeHaan, sister-in-law, Barb Rooney, and great-grandson, Zander Bates.

A Vigil/Rosary will be held on September 18, 2026, at 4:30 pm at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, 1900 E. 19th St., Cheyenne, WY 82001. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 10:00 am at Wiederspahn/Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, with burial immediately following at the Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at The Gathering Place, 1900 E 21st St.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph’s Church or the Davis Hospice Center.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to all her caregivers, hospice staff, clergy, and friends for the loving care and prayers offered for Ann. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
