Alfred Arthur “Al” Romero, 82, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1943, in Tacoma, Washington. A proud U.S. Marine, Al carried the values of service, discipline, and integrity throughout his life. He was a devoted husband of 59 years to his beloved wife, Madeline; a loving father to two daughters, Sharon (and her husband Randy) and Donna; a cherished grandfather to three granddaughters, Tiffany (and her husband Kenneth), Ashley (and her husband Andy), and Stephanie (and her wife Kris); and a proud great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Danny Romero (and his wife Marcella). Al was the kind of man who would go the extra mile for anyone in need. A true social butterfly, he never met a stranger—he loved striking up conversations and connecting with people from all walks of life. A dedicated worker and skilled craftsman, Al found great joy in building, repairing, and renovating, always putting his hands and his heart into everything he touched. Deeply involved in his community, Al was a proud member of the American Legion and regularly volunteered through his church, delivering food to families in need. A Rosary will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes on December 8, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on December 9, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. ⸻ “Dad—he never said ‘I love you’ in words I can recall. Yet through every look, every touch, every kind deed, his love was always clear. Goodbye, my father and my friend. Sweet memories remain—ones that will never end.”
