Adell Elizabeth Williams

Adell E. Williams, 95, of Cheyenne passed away at home on July 31, 2025.

She was born on November 21, 1929, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and had lived here in Cheyenne since 1972.

She went to school for Cosmetology and loved being a hairdresser. Her focus was being a wife and stay-at-home mother. She also loved to sing. She will be remembered for singing with her church, programs, military functions, and numerous city celebrations.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Aaron White of Hampton, Virginia; a daughter, Claudia Davis of Sahuarita, Arizona; a son, Donald Williams of Cheyenne, Wyoming; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Cora White, and her husband, Claude Williams.

Services will be held on Friday, August 15th at 10 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Rev. Catherine Fitzhugh officiating.

Interment will take place at Beth El Cemetery immediately following services.
