    Wayne D Roads

    August 14, 1962 - October 2, 2021

Wayne Douglas Roads, 59, was born on August 14, 1962 in Purcell, Oklahoma. He ended his earthly journey on October 2, 2021 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He lived in Oklahoma, Kansas, California, Colorado, and Wyoming and had the pleasure to travel to many other great states in the U.S. and beyond throughout his life. Wayne met the love of his life, Gabriele Kuper, in Colorado Springs, CO and they married in June 1982. They welcomed their precious daughter, Amber, into the world in 1983. He was a kind, hard working man who set out to accomplish his goals and achieved them. He owned and operated his business, Missile Drive Auto Body, with honor and integrity for 21 years. In his retirement he enjoyed coming alongside his pastor and friend, Matt Snyder, helping with administrative and maintenance duties within the church. He served as an elder for a number of years and continued to enjoy his relationship with the elders when he stepped down and served as treasurer of his church, North Christian Church. Wayne is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gabriele Roads; son in law Jerrod (Melissa) Herstein; grandchildren, Payton and Wyland Herstein; stepmother, Darlene Roads; sister, Judy (Brad) Weed; brother Tracy Allen Roads; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, niece's and nephew's. He is preceded in death by his daughter Amber Renee Herstein, his parents, Jack Roads and Betty Roads, and his sister, Cheryl Ann Roads. In lieu of flowers and cards please consider giving a legacy gift to LifeChoice Pregnancy Care Center, PO Box 873, Cheyenne, WY 82003, memo- Planned Giving Program or Summit Christian College, 2025 21st ST, Gering, NE 69341, memo- Mason Scholarship Fund. Life is so precious and worthwhile when you choose to follow Jesus! Our "Jesus Freak" (Wayne's song) will be missed by many! No services are planned at this time.
