Sharon Joy Hitz, 64, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died December 16, 2020 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Sharon was born November 6, 1956 to Carl and Ruby Motes in Sidney, Nebraska, where she grew up. Sharon graduated from Sidney High School with the class of 1975. She married Patrick Wilson and they made their home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and they had four sons. Sharon is survived by sons Brandon (Ashley) Wilson, Kyle (Kaitlyn) Wilson of Cheyenne, her mother Ruby Motes of Harlan, Iowa, four sisters; Anita Knapp, Virginia Clawson of Cheyenne, Karen Kleich of Harlan, Iowa, Kathy Motes Long of Boone, Iowa, one brother: Glenn (Penny) Motes of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two grandsons: James and Henry Wilson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sharon was preceded in death in death by twin infant sons, Nicholas and Nathan, her father Carl Motes, maternal grandparents Robert and Nancy Kennedy, paternal grandparents Arthur O. and Sarah Viola Motes, sisters Linda Nelson, Sarah Harmon, and Bertha Lou Tolbert.
