Scott Wayne Finnell, 61, passed away at his home into the hands of God, February 19, 2022. He was born July 11, 1960 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Norman and Kathryn (Heide) Finnell. Scott graduated from East High School, Cheyenne. He was a self-employed painter. Scott enjoyed various hobbies including working on classic cars and walking his dogs. He enjoyed collecting things including toy cars, stamps, and antiques. He shared the Word of God with many friends and family. He is survived by his children Lacey Finnell of Salt Lake City, UT and Mickey Finnell of Newcastle, WY, his sister and brother-in-law Charlene and Dennis Humphrey, parents Norman and Kathryn Finnell, all of Cheyenne, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his pet companion Misty. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Scott loved his family. There will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Contributions in his honor may be made to the “Shiners Children’s Hospital Salt Lake City” or “Cheyenne Animal Shelter”.
