Nohemi Fernandez

August 16, 1961 - May 10, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Nohemi Fernandez on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 of Cheyenne, Wyoming, at the young age of 60 years old. Nohemi will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, Jose Sr. children: Jose (Shannon), Gabriel, and Leo; grandchildren: Kayla, Tatyanna, Monse; brother Jesus, and 6 sisters: Araceli, Maria Guadalupe, Leticia(Ramon), Marvella, Bertha(Juan), Maricela (Guilverto), as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jesus and Alicia Calderon. Nohemi was born in Morelia Michoacan, Mexico. She married Jose Sr. on May 26,1984. Jose jr. was born a year later. They moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1986, where her other two sons were born. Nohemi had worked many jobs throughout her life. For the last 11 years she had been employed at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Environment Services. Nohemi was a woman of many passions including crafting, gardening, and baking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Nohemi loved to joke with everyone she met. She also had a heart of gold. Nohemi loved to make crafts to give out on holidays to family and friends, and during Covid, she made masks to give to anyone that needed one. She was always a good friend to her co-workers and considered them family. Nohemi experienced many challenges throughout her life, and she always faced them head on, with a smile on her face, and never gave up. She battled until the very end it was an honor and a blessing for anyone that crossed her path. Viewing for Nohemi will be held from 9:00am-1:00pm on Tuesday, May 17th 2022, at Weidersphan-Radomsky, 1900 E.19th St. Cheyenne, Wyoming. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm.
