Kathy Atkinson, of Cheyenne, WY born September 30, 1967, passed away on May 12, 2022, peacefully at Davis Hospice Center. Kathy was a very independent woman who worked her whole life. Most recent was at Walmart. She loved her family and bossing them around but what she loved more than that was her grandchildren. She is survived by her spouse, Phillip Sanchez; children, Angello (Erika) Sanchez and Savanna (Genieva) Romero; grandchildren, Jessenia Inglby and Rhyan Sanchez; her dog, Chaz Sanchez; sister, Stephanie (Dave) White; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Atkinson; mother, Linda Talley; sister, Krista Martinez; and many more. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday May 19, 2022, in the GI Forum 619 South Greeley Highway. It will be a potluck so please bring a dish.
