Joan Coulthard

Joan A. Coulthard passed on February 25, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Joan was born on August 4, 1931, to Roy and Marguerite Habel in Grand Island, Nebraska. She has two siblings; Dona Johnston (Cheyenne) and Larry Habel who proceeded her in death. Joan move from the Nebraska area to Wheatland while in grade school. She was a resident of Rock Springs, Medicine Bow, Wheatland, Wyoming, and she was currently living in Cheyenne Wyoming. Joan married Arthur A. Coulthard November of 1974 in Laramie, Wy. They lived in Medicine Bow, Wyoming until Arthur’s retirement then they moved to Wheatland, Wyoming. Joan is survived by three daughters: Karen Leann Tapp, Sharon J. VonSeggern (Joe) and Lori Jo Butner all of Cheyenne. She has five grandchildren: Michael Capps (Jennifer) David VonSeggern (Bethany) Christopher Tapp, Nicole Smiley (Steve) Jessica Savage (Danny) and six great-grandchildren. Joan’s graveside services will be held later. Donations may be made to Cheyenne Animal Shelter or favorite charity.
