Doris E. Benavidez, 97, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away peacefully while in Indiana. Doris was born in Mora, New Mexico on October 1st, 1924. Her husband Lorenzo Q. Benavidez preceded her in death in 2008. They were married for 62 years. Her grandson Jerry Garcia preceded her in death as well as her two brothers and three sisters. She leaves behind 5 children. Betty & Robert Norman of Florida, Patsy & David Garcia of Arizona, Barbara & Steve Mills of Indiana, Larry Benavidez of Wyoming, and Marlene Benavidez of Arizona. She also leaves behind 10 Grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. As a housewife & Mother, Doris was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Cheyenne. By her request Doris will be cremated.
