Crystal J. "CJ" Compton

Crystal J. “CJ” Compton, 36, of Cheyenne, passed away at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1985, in Cheyenne Wyoming to Shawn Compton and Dawn (Richardson) Nona. Crystal loved spending time with her sister, family, and her longtime companion and spirit animal Kane. She always knew how to light up a room and make everyone laugh and smile. Crystal fought a long battle with Lupus, starting a young age, enduring years of pain and frustrations. Those who know, know her struggle was real, and we all pray that she is pain free for the first time in her adult life. She is survived by her father, Shawn; mother, Dawn; sister, Rebekah; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Devon Esser. Crystal touched many lives and will be missed by them all. Rest easy Crystal. Crystal's Celebration of Life will be held on February 14th, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., at the Moose Lodge, 1019 S.
