Carole Lynn Davis, 81, of Cheyenne, passed away on May 6, 2022, at Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. She was born July 23, 1940, in Cheyenne to Winford and Lola (Couser) Davis. Carole grew up in Cheyenne, graduating from Cheyenne High School in 1958. After graduating from high school, she went onto college in Greeley and receiving her bachelor's degree for teaching from University of Northern Colorado. Carole taught in many places in Colorado. In 1974 she moved to Loveland and became the district manager for AVON. During this time Carole was very active in the choir at her church and played the viola for the local symphony. Carole moved back to Cheyenne in 1993 and worked odd jobs. She met her partner, Larry Mellick in 2000 and they have been together until her passing. Carole is survived by her son, Brian; partner, Larry; grandchildren, Chad, Jeremy, and Chris Hansis; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
