    Brent Ellis Kopriva

    January 17, 1948 - April 26, 2022

    Brent Ellis Kopriva, born January 17, 1948, in Storm Lake, IA to Francis and Janice “Melba” Kopriva, passed away April 26, 2022, after losing his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family. He went into the Navy after graduating from Pocahontas High School in Iowa, and Tobin’s Businiess College in Fort Dodge, IA. In the Navy he went on West Pac- including Japan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Upon returning he married Christine Ann Bundy on May 16,1970, in Pocahontas, IA. He is survived by his wife, Christine; sons, Shawn Paul (Janelle) Kopriva of Winter Park, FL, and Corey Douglas Kopriva of Fort Collins, CO; four grandchildren, Stephen and Christian of Winter Park, FL, and Roland and Sage of Fort Collins, CO; mother, Janice Melba Kopriva of Tucson, AZ; sister, Sharyn (Jeff) Jontz of Winter Park, FL; and nephew, Eric Jontz of Winter Park Florida. He is preceded in death by his father, Francis Kopriva. His hobbies were RC cars, boats, and helicopters. Condolences and memorials may be sent to Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
