    Barbara Dawson

    May 27, 1951 - May 1, 2022

Barbara Lee (Longnecker) Dawson walked into the arms of Jesus on May 1st, 2022. Her struggle with cancer ended and she now is fully healed and able to walk in peace with her Savior. Barbara was born to John and Ruth Longnecker in Cheyenne, Wyoming on May 27th, 1951. After high school, she met the love of her life, Dennis Dawson, and married him soon after. She became a second Mom to Viki and Steve Dawson when they married and then they had one child together, Jeni Dawson (Mason). Barb was blessed with five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Barb was known for her loving spirit, a beautiful smile, and for listening to and loving all who spent time with her. Barb had a strong faith in Jesus as her Lord and Savior and the overflow of that faith spilled over into time with others when she would sit one on one, ask intentional questions, and continually pray for them. To be hugged by Barb is to know you were loved! Barbara will be honored in a private family celebration of life near her home by Frontier Park.
