    Allen Richard "Rich" Seipp

    March 13, 1947 - August 1, 2021

Allen Richard "Rich" Seipp Allen Richard "Rich" Seipp, 74 passed away in his home Sunday, August 1, 2021. Rich was born in the bustling town of Cheyenne Wyoming March 13, 1947 to Martin Leander "Leon" and Lucinda Viola "Viola" (Rogholt) Seipp. He spent his childhood with his parents, sister Kay, and brothers Larry, Dennis and Dale. After graduation from Rock Springs High School, Rich enlisted in the United States Army, attending medical training in Tacoma, Washington. While completing training, his first daughter, DeAnne Kay was born. He went on to serve in a MASH unit overseas sparking a lifelong passion. Returning to his home state of Wyoming upon completion of active duty, two more daughters were born into the young family, Jeri Jean and Jo Lynn Lucinda. The constant learner, Rich attended the University of Wyoming and Michigan State University, proudly graduating with degrees from both while raising his growing family. As he started his professional career, his youngest daughter, Jennifer Nancy was born completing the happy family. Ever the proud father, he cherished his girls, raising four "daddy's girls" was the joy of his life. His professional career brought Rich back to his home town of Cheyenne and it was here that he fell in love with and married his wife Kaye Pamp. Their love story spanned more than 25 years. During that time they built a beautiful home "the cabin" filling it with moments of family, fun and laughter, creating lifelong memories. The most wonderful moments bring the most cherished memories of all, the birth of grandchildren. Maria Alicia Spencer made Rich into a proud loving Papa followed by Zollie Richard Spencer who proudly carries his name. Even more happiness came with Kara Ann Roberts, Christopher Morgan Evans, and Autumn Faith Evans. Rich was and always will be, the ever loving Papa. After spending many years in the professional world, Rich returned to full time military duty with the Wyoming Air National Guard, his true passion. Serving distinguishably for more than 20 years, Rich retired in 2007. In retirement, he became an avid gardener, tending to the many rows of day lilies that surround the cabin. Enjoying caring for the lawn and garden brought many hours on the riding lawn mower, something he even shared with the grand kids. Most of all Rich became an amazing baker. He spent many hours with bread machines whirling, creating and perfecting his muffin, bread and jelly making. His love for baking led to more wonderful treats than could be consumed so he began sharing his talents with family and friends and soon they became legends, being requested by many. His creations were labeled "Grumpy's Gourmet Muffins" a fitting moniker and will be missed by many. Rich is survived by his wife Kaye, daughters Kay Seipp, Jeri Seipp, Jo Lynn (Matthew) Eckhardt and Jennifer (Victor) Spencer all of Cheyenne. Grandchildren Maria and Zollie Spencer. Step children Shannon Beirne, John (Misty) Roberts, bonus grandchildren Kara Roberts, Christopher (Natalie Rodriguez) Evans and Autumn (Shane Trofholz) Evans. Along with bonus grandchildren came amazing great grandchildren Oliver James Evans and Jiraiya David Trofholz. Rich is also survived by his sister Kay (Jim) Tyra of Sheridan Wyoming, Larry Seipp of Mesquite Texas, Dennis (Marty) Seipp of Bondurant Wyoming and Dale Seipp of St George Utah along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rich was preceded in death by both of his parents, Leon and Viola Seipp, two beloved sisters in law Judy (Larry) Seipp and Edith (Dale) Seipp and his treasured poodles Shadow and Sarah. Honorary pallbearers will include Maria Spencer, Zollie Spencer, Kara Roberts, Christopher Evans, Autumn Evans, Victor Spencer, Matthew Eckhardt and Skye Seipp. "If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever...." Services will be held September 3, 2021 11:00 a.m., at the Cheyenne National Cemetery, 8611 Hildreth Road, Cheyenne Wyoming with full military honors. The family has invited the public to attend the service although, due to the COVID pandemic, there will be a private family reception to follow. Donations can be made to Black Dog Animal Rescue or the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
